Pepe Cuart's Filmmaking Skills

Aside from his experience on writing and directing, Pepe Cuart has developed multiple set skills since he started his film career back in 2019.

Pre-Production Skills

As a Director, Pepe puts extra-effort into planning every little detail ahead of time.

Trained by Filmmakers like Paul Warner and Benjamin Cohen, the script is always a first but tools like drawing his own Storyboards help him design the film style and develop the story more creatively. Another thing that distinguishes Pepe from other filmmakers is his will to rehearse and deeply study with his actors each character that will come to life later in the film.

All this added to the creative work with his crew helps him deliver a great film.

Production Skills

Being directing his favourite set position, Pepe has also worked in the Grip & Electric Department on multiple occasions and perfected his rigging skills while being mentored by remarkable names in the industry such as Till Neumann, John Foster, Ray Preziosi, Piero Basso or Arsenio Assin.

Pepe has plenty of experience using basic Lights such as Fresnel or HMI's and dealing with more detailed rigs on LED Nanlites and Kino Flo's. In terms of assembling and operating, equipment such as Dana Dolly, Pee Wee Dolly, Jib Arm or Dolly Tracks is extremely familiar to this filmmaker.

Post-Production Skills

As a Filmmaker and Digital Artist, Pepe has always loved anything related to the Edit of the film. In fact - according to most of his film teachers and colleagues - two of the things Pepe does best is Re-Writing his Scripts and Re-Editing his films.

Last but  definitely not least, Pepe's vast knowledge of softwares such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects or Avid Media Composer help him achieve astounding pieces of visual art.
